This class is aimed to introduce beginners to the world of weight training, but it also challenges all your major muscle groups by using the best weight-room exercises such as Squats, Presses, Lifts and Curls.
The initial 15 minutes of the class is utilized to introduce the basic elements and moves to the
group; so unlike other classes, all members of the group can familiarise themselves with the
exercises at a basic level in order for them to carry out the tasks safely and effectively.
This is followed by a general warm-up then a more specific warm-up, which is aimed to prepare the body, both mentally and physically, for the increasing demands of the training.
The class is based on strength-endurance, which means that each exercise is repeated 40-50
times linking the development of strength enhancement and cardiac systems together.
This results in improvement of the heart and the circulatory system, muscles become tired later, increased load carrying capacity, the entire body learns to recover faster, increased ability to concentrate due to the training of nervous paths, which can be extremely beneficial for everyday life.
